Calgary police homicide detectives are investigating after a targeted shooting in the southeast.
Officers responded to a park near the intersection of Legacy Parade and Legacy Lane SE at approximately 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, after area residents reported a man had been shot in a vehicle.
When police arrived, a man was found dead in a car. The suspect or suspects had left the scene, police said.
Police have the area secured and are collecting evidence on the scene at this time. They believe there is no danger to the public.
According to police, the shooting looks to have been targeted.
