One person was charged in a Pineridge shooting death earlier this year.
At approximately 1 a.m. on March 30 police were called to a home in the 5700 block of 18 Ave NE after reports of multiple reports of gunshots.
After searching the area, investigators found Calgary man Aaron Elliot Castle, 39 dead at the scene. Autopsy results have since confirmed the man’s identity.
After interviewing a number of witnesses, police requested assistance from the public to help locate several possible suspects.
Two people were brought in for questioning during the investigation, but were later released.
Police have now charged Lyle Robert Walter Vance, 27, with second-degree murder.
Vance has also been charged with attempted murder as a second victim on scene survived.
He’s set to appear in court June 22.
