Calgary Police searching for person of interest following Pineridge shooting

Calgary police have identified a person of interest following a shooting in the northeast community of Pineridge.

Detectives are now seeking public help to locate Cody Edith Bradburn, 33, who is believed to have knowledge in relation to the ongoing case.

Bradburn is described as 5’5″ tall with a slim build.

Officers were called to the 5700 block of 18 Avenue NE at around 1 a.m. on Monday after gunshots were heard by area residents.

After searching the area, officers found a man, who was later pronounced dead by EMS at the scene, police said.

Police later cleared a nearby home and have spoken with several potential witnesses.

Investigators are currently preserving evidence from the scene due to changing weather conditions.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1.
