Calgary police seek suspects in Beltline shooting

Calgary police are hoping to identify occupants of a red or orange Dodge Caravan or similar vehicle after a shooting Jan. 6 in the Beltline.

Calgary police were called out to the 1100 block of 12 Avenue SW on Jan. 6 around 11 p.m. after a number of shots were reportedly fired near the Midtown Co-op.

Police say they’ve spoken with a number of witnesses and accessed nearby CCTV and as a result, they’re looking for the red or orange vehicle.

According to police, evidence gathered at the scene suggests four shots were fired, but it’s unknown if anyone was injured in the shooting.
