Calgary police are investigating after a girl in her mid-teens was sexually assaulted after getting off a southwest bus Monday.
According to police, just after 6 p.m. on Jan. 7, a teen girl was riding the 56 bus and she noticed a man staring at her. The girl got off the bus at the intersection of Woodbine Boulevard and Woodmark Crescent SW and the man followed her.
Police said that after walking a short distance, the man approached the girl, lifted her skirt and attempted to take a picture. The suspect then fled along Woodbine Boulevard.
The girl wasn’t injured in the attack.
The suspect was described as Indigenous, mid-20s, 5’11 to 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing ripped, light-blue jeans a green bomber jacket, a blue checkered hat with Supreme on it and grey and orange Yeezy brand shoes.
