Calgary police and EMS are confirming that an adult male was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in the northwest community of Thorncliffe Thursday morning.
Adam Loria, public education officer with Calgary EMS, said paramedics were called to the 1100 block of Trafford Drive NW around 9:30 a.m.
They transported a person to Foothills Medical Centre in critical, life-threatening condition.
Calgary police are investigating. A spokesperson said police arrived on scene at 9:40 a.m. They confirmed that the victim was an adult male, and that the driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
